El Jaish crush Qatar SC as Al Sadd edge Al Shamal

Action from the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) League match between Al Sadd and Al Shamal at Al Gharafa Indoor Stadium in Doha yesterday. Al Sadd won 88-82.


DOHA:  Al Sadd and El Jaish posted contrasting victories in the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) League yesterday. 
Al Sadd had to battle for their win over Al Shamal, whereas, El Jaish showed no mercy to Qatar SC in two National League games at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall. 
Kone Mohamed Deba dunked 26 points while team-mate Raffa Anthony managed a tally of 23 as Al Sadd edged past Al Shamal 88-82 at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall. 
Abdi Khalid Suliman (16) and Daoud Mousa (12) also reached figures to give Al Sadd the edge in the hard-fought battle yesterday. 
Ali Saad Abdulrahman chipped with 4 points and 7 assists while Suliman managed 5 assists in Al Sadd’s tough win. 
For Al Shamal, Hachad Mohamed Kamal dominated proceedings alone as he managed an impressive 35 points to go along with his 6 assists. 
Ambres Mildon (24 points) also sparkled along with Kamal. 
Kosar Abdulqadir (10) was the third Al Shamal player to reach double figures. 
In the second game of the day at the same venue, El Jaish hammered Qatar SC 107-70.  
Monroe Jr II Sammy (33) and Macklin Vernon Leon (30) were the heroes of the day for El Jaish by reaching the 30-mark. 
Leon had 8 assists while Sammy managed 5 in the one-side campaign. 
Al Malki Saeed Ibrahim (15) and Ali Ali Turki (14) also reached double figures for El Jaish. 
For Qatar SC, Jefferson Consteveous was the top scorer with 25 points and 9 assists.  
Al Muftah Abdulrahman Ibrahim (13) and White Malcolm Anthony (12) also reached double digits for Qatar SC.   Abdalla Ahmed Mahmood managed 9 points and 3 assists for Qatar SC.  El Jaish dominated all four quarters. 
In the today’s games, Al Ahli take on Al Wakrah at 5:30pm while Al Gharafa face Al Rayyan at 7:30pm.
