KIEV: Four Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and 14 wounded in fighting with pro-Russian rebels in the past 24 hours, military spokesman Oleksander Motuzyanyk said on Thursday.

Increased violence in separatist parts of east Ukraine in the past two weeks has raised concerns a six-month-old ceasefire could be crumbling.
