New York: Secretary-General of the United Nations H E Antonio Guterres extended his thanks and appreciation to Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for his mediation efforts between the Republic of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Guterres said that His Highnesss hosting of a trilateral meeting in Doha with President of the Republic of Rwanda H E Paul Kagame and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo H E Felix Tshisekedi contributed to fostering trust between the two countries and led to a mutual commitment to ensuring a secure and stable future in the region.
