Now that the academic year has started, there is discussion that the demand and fees for private tuition classes are rising and can cost between QR150 to QR300 per hour.

Many people are complaining Karwa taxis do not stop for passengers even if they are empty. In addition, they do not frequent commercial areas making people wait for a long time.

People are urging the authorities to build more toilets in the Corniche area. As of now, there is only one toilet in that area.

Prices have been rising for clothes and food as Eid holidays are approaching.

There is some discussion about the Traffic Department’s campaign such as: not using mobile phones while driving, not parking in handicapped parking slots, not throwing garbage out of the car window. People are asking why the campaign doesn’t have continuity and there is no strict implementation by the Traffic Dept.

An accident that occurred on Friday on the Sealine sand dunes injuring some men has triggered a discussion in the community about the need for stronger action by the Traffic Department in order to stop these young people from engaging in dangerous sports, which will lead to more deaths.

Many people are hoping that salaries will come soon, before the Eid holidays which start on October 26.

People are complaining about the small quota for Hajj pilgrims from Qatar. 

There is much discussion about the amendments to Kuwait’s electoral law. A Twitter hashtag has been created by Kuwaiti parliament members, which loosely translates as “Road to dignity for citizens”.

There has been a revival of the campaign against Qatar Airways which started ten months ago. Many people are questioning the monopoly of the airline, the high ticket prices and other related issues that have not been resolved.
