Doha, Qatar: The Customs Department at Hamad Port and the southern ports successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle banned tobacco.
This came after a customs inspector became suspicious of a tanker shipment.

The shipment was inspected using specialized devices, which led to the discovery of the banned tobacco hidden inside secret compartments.
The total weight of the seized substance was approximately 15 tonnes.
