Doha: ‘Screen For Life’, Qatar’s national breast and bowel cancer screening programme has announced the opening hours of its three dedicated facilities and call centre during the holy month of Ramadan.
The screening suite at Al Wakra Health Center will be open for breast and bowel screening from 7pm to 12 midnight throughout Ramadan.
Both screening suites at Leabaib and Rawdat Al Khail Health Centers will open in the mornings, from 8am to 1pm and again in the evenings from 7pm to 12 midnight.
While, the mobile screening unit will also be in operation in Madinat Khalifa Health Center, from 8am to 1pm, to engage with eligible women and offer mammograms to women who cannot easily access one of the three dedicated facilities.
The dedicated ’Screen For Life’ call center, which people can call to request an appointment or learn more about the program and its objectives, will be operated by a team of fully qualified professionals from 8am to 2pm Sunday till Thursday; and on Saturday the call centre will be operating from 10am to 2pm.
