190 local and international companies representing 19 countries are participating

Doha, Qatar: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) continues its intensive preparations for the 7th edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition S'hail 2023, which will take place from September 5 to 9.
S'hail is the largest international forum displaying the latest weapons and the best supplies in the world of weapons, hunting and off-road excursions, and the largest gathering of amateurs falconry and hunting in the Gulf region and the Middle East. It also constitutes a global economic and marketing platform that attracts major national and international companies specialized in displaying and selling the best weapons, products and equipment in the world of hunting.
The 7th edition was marked by the wide participation of more than 190 local and international companies representing Qatar and 18 countries from around the world, including the distinguished Gulf partaking of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The committee indicated that the percentage achieved by national companies in the 7th edition reaches 80%, including many emerging companies, which reflects the success of the Suhail exhibition in attracting local companies and its keenness for the Qatari product to have a presence and an active role in the exhibition, pointing out that many national companies represent major international companies by concluding cooperation agreements to display their best products and innovations.
The organizing committee of the S’hail exhibition praised the distinguished participation of ministries, institutions and governmental and official bodies such as the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Municipality, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and the General Authority of Customs, through distinct pavilions that provide all services and facilities to the public and visitors, in addition to issuing licenses for the possession of weapons and hunting rifles, and entry licenses for hybrid birds, and passports for falcons sold during the exhibition, and expressed also its appreciation to the participation of Souq Waqif for falcons and the South Reserve.
The committee indicated that the area allocated for the exhibition this year increased by 10%, as these spaces are distributed over three areas in Katara, which is Area A, the main tent that occupies Al-Hikma Square, and in which the S’hail Auction Theater takes place, which will include the rarest types of falcons, in addition to displaying sniper requirements and equipment for hunting trips.
In addition to the industries, and Area B, which is the hall for arms and hunting rifles companies. As for Area C, the big tent, is designated for four-wheel-drive car supply companies, while the external area is dedicated to displaying the most luxurious types of mobile caravans.
The committee pointed out that the Suhail auction will allow falconry and hunting enthusiasts in Qatar, the Gulf states and the world to participate and compete electronically for the falcons offered from anywhere, through an electronic application prepared for this purpose, if they attend the final auction, everyone will participate in the auction around the clock until the end of the auction on the closing day, with the availability of an alert system for the participants linked to the rising and public bidding operations on the birds.
The Organizing Committee of the S’hail Exhibition 2023 will hold the competitions for the most beautiful pavilion and the most beautiful burqa (Falcon head cover), In addition to presenting a package of foods prepared from the prey meat.
As for the entry procedures, it will be via electronic registration, as the visitor gets a one-time ticket that enables him to enter during the period of the exhibition.
