Doha, Qatar: There is an increased chance of rain from this afternoon until the end of the week which maybe accompanied by thunder, stated the Qatar Meteorology Department.
The department said this on social media sharing a weather chart model that shows the cloud cover over the country.
"It is expected that the cloud amounts will increase across the country from today, Sunday afternoon, October 22 until the end of the week, where the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of rain may become thundery at places associated with sudden strong winds at times," the department said in its announcement.
The Civil Aviation Authority (meteorological department) also called for extra precaution and urged all to follow safety instructions during thundery rain.
