Meteorology Department warns of strong wind and high sea

Doha, Qatar: Weather inshore until 6pm on Wednesday will be scattered clouds and slightly dusty to blowing dusty at places at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of strong wind.

 

On its social media, it said that a drop in temperature will be felt over the coming days in the country, as the weather will be mild to relatively cold at night, and relative humidity levels will decrease due to the influence of northwesterly winds.

Offshore, it will be scattered clouds to partly cloudy at times with chance of thunder rain at first, the report added, warning of expected thundery rain / Strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be Northwesterly 12 to 20 knot, gusting to 26 knot at places daytimes. Offshore, it will be northerly to northwesterly 18 to 25 knot, gusting to 35 knot at times.

Visibility inshore will be 04 to 09/03 KM or less daytime. Offshore, it will be 04 to 08 KM.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 FT, rising to 5 FT. Offshore, it will be 5 to 8 FT, rises to 12 FT.
