Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Professional Wrestling (QPW)-organised Super Slam III concluded on Saturday evening to great fanfare and spectacular performances.
Wrestling fans in Qatar were treated to two unforgettable wrestling nights, with big names gracing the Ladies Hall at Aspire Zone, Doha.
Many of Qatar’s citizens and residents thronged the venue to see their favorite superstars in action, with families coming in droves.
The first night of wrestling action saw great matchups that had the crowd on its feet for the majority of the event. Former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, WWE legend Mick Foley, former WWE star Jinder Mahal all made appearances during Super Slam III’s first night.

Speaking to The Peninsula, Niral Merchant, Chief Financial Officer of Anthem Sports & Entertainment –the company that owns TNA Wrestling– said the event was “beyond expectations.”

“World class production, quality, the talent they have been able to assemble from a global base is just amazing,” he said.
Merchant also described his thrill at seeing a number of local talents being given the opportunity to shine during the event.
TNA Wrestling was among the many partners for this event, which also included Qatar Calendar by Visit Qatar as the official Events and Tourism Partner, Thriller TV as Broadcasting Partner, and The Peninsula, Marhaba, Qabayan Radio, and I Am Qatar as Media Partners.
The second night saw QPW Academy talents compete in a Battle Royale that was claimed by the gigantic Big Mad, who had a great size advantage.
Nick Nemeth and Matt Cardona also wowed the fans during their Middle East Championship bout, which was claimed by Cardona.

Filipino big guy Fallah Bahh also provided for some great entertainment during his matchup with Chris Raaber.
The second night of action culminated with Mustafa Ali, former WWE superstar currently signed to TNA, defeating Enzo Amore, ring name Real1, to the thunderous applause of the whole arena.
