ZURICH: Two small planes crashed at an air show in Dittingen, Switzerland, on Sunday, killing at least one person, police said.

Two of three aircraft flying in formation crashed shortly before 0530 ET, Basel-Landschaft police said in a statement.

Swiss newspaper Blick reported that one pilot managed to escape by parachute.

At least seven people died when a jet aircraft plowed into several cars on a busy road near an airshow in southern England on Saturday.
