Jaidah Automotive, a subsidiary of Jaidah Group, has announced the sale of 60 cars to the Qatari franchise of the global car rental firm Budget Rent a Car.
Budget Rent a Car has purchased 60 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles, the brand new MY 2013 model year, from Jaidah Automotive. Jaidah was represented in this deal by Waleed Al Sayed, General Sales Manager, Mahmoud Adam, Fleet Sales Supervisor, and Ahmed Aboulnasr, Fleet Sales Consultant. Budget Rent a Car was represented by its General Manager Ayman Khaled.
Speaking about the deal Khaled said: “Market demand for car rental has increased significantly and it’s imperative that Budget Rent a Car meets that demand. We needed new vehicles – a sizeable number – and, having dealt with Jaidah Automotive before, knew that they would be the answer to our requirement.
“So it proved, as they had the capacity and expertise to meet the order for 60 new Malibu vehicles for our fleet. Overall, we’re extremely happy with our new acquisitions and the professional and efficient way in which the deal was conducted. We’re sure our customers are going to be pleased with this significant update to our fleet.”
Al Sayed of Jaidah Automotive added: “The Chevrolet Malibu MY 2013 model is a very competent vehicle that can do pretty much everything that is asked of it and it’s perfect for this market. As Qatar expands as a country, so does demand for car rental and we were very pleased to do business with Budget Rent a Car once more. This tells us that we are reliable and that we can deliver in big numbers.
“It’s a deal that suits both parties and Budget Rent a Car knows that Jaidah Automotive is always there to assist them when they need further cars, and also when it comes to after-sales and maintenance.
