Doha: The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) announced that health insurance services provided by the National Health Insurance Company (Seha) will be suspended as of 31 December 2015.
The SCH said that the suspension is an implementation of a Cabinet decision released today. It added that the Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance will provide Qatari nationals with insurance coverage through one or more leading insurance companies in the country within the next six months, and without placing extra burden on the citizens.
The SCH said in a press statement today that it will announce the details of insurance scheme and subscription soon.
