Doha: Al Ahli Sports Club’s Terrence Joyner shot 32 points but that was not enough to avoid his team facing a humiliating defeat on the hands of Al Gharafa in their Qatar Men’s League game played at Al Gharafa Indoor Hall yesterday which Al Gharafa went on to win by 108-69 points.
Abdulrahman Saad shot 24 points and made three assists while Hassino Ndoye (13 points and 4 assists), Kevin Dwayne Galloway (14 points and 9 assists), Emmanuel Osaro Adako (14 points and 5 assists) and Omar Salem (17 points) also made useful contributions for Al Gharafa. In another meeting in the afternoon, Al Shamal beat Al Wakrah 85-76 with the help of three notable contributions coming from Mildon Ambres (30 points and 1 assist), Abdulqadir Kosar (20 points and 3 assists) and Mohamed Kamal Hachad (25 points and 10 assists).
