The players and officials of Qatar’s Al Rayyan club, winners of the 3x3 GCC Club basketball championship, greeted upon arrival at Hamad International Airport in Doha, yesterday. In the all-Qatar final, Al Rayyan defeated Al Sadd 22-16 to win the GCC title on Saturday in Bahrain. Twelve clubs from the six GCC nations, including hosts Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Oman took part in the championship.
