Doha, Qatar: The first Asian Nuts and Dried Fruits Exhibition, organised by the Celebrations Committee of the Private Engineering Office, will be launched for the first time in the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif from March 1 to 10, 2025, daily from 7:30pm to 12 midnight.
The exhibition attracts elite suppliers from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Turkiye. These countries are famous for producing the finest nuts and dried fruits, known for their high quality and unique taste. The timing of the exhibition was chosen to be during the holy month of Ramadan, when demand for nuts increases, as they are an essential component of Ramadan tables.
Holding the exhibition at Souq Waqif, the most prominent family destination during the holy month, enhances the event, as it provides an authentic Ramadan atmosphere that attracts visitors from Qatar and abroad. General Supervisor of the exhibition, Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, stated: “We are pleased to launch this first-of-its-kind exhibition, which provides a unique platform to showcase the finest nuts and dried fruits from Asian countries.
“Our choice of this timing came in response to the increasing demand for these products during the month of Ramadan, and its location in Souq Waqif enhances its appeal, given the market’s heritage character that attracts visitors from all walks of life.”
Al Suwaidi invited the public to visit the exhibition and enjoy a unique shopping experience, where they will have the opportunity to discover a variety of high-quality natural products, coming directly from their original sources.
