Arabic music sensations, Majid Al Muhandes (pictured) and Hussain Al Jassmi will perform live at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) theatre next month as part of the entertainment schedule of the first edition of Shop Qatar, organisers confirmed yesterday.
Iraqi singer Majid AlMuhandes, winner of the prestigious Murex D’or award for Best Arab Singer, will perform at the ‘Arabic Night’ on January 20 while Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi will headline the ‘Khaleeji Night’ serenading fans with a selection of his best-known hits on January 27.
Tickets for both music concerts are now on sale at all branches of Virgin Megastores in Qatar and can be purchased online through the store’s website as well as at platinumlist.net. Tickets start at QR120 in the bronze category and are available at QR250, 500, 1,000 and 1,250 in the silver, gold, platinum and royal categories respectively.
These live music concerts form part of Shop Qatar’s exciting live entertainment schedule, offering a rich array of cultural shows, performances and unlimited family-friendly entertainment.

As part of efforts to provide visitors with the complete package, QTA has partnered with Qatar Airways to ensure flights to Qatar from within the GCC region booked on the airline for the period between 7 January and 7 February will be available with a 25% discount. In addition, members of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club will receive double Q-miles on their booking during Shop Qatar.

Under the slogan ‘A Brand New Tradition’, the first edition of Shop Qatar will kick-off next month with discounts on popular brands, cash prizes worth up to QR4 million, and colourful entertainment featuring Cats the Broadway musical and 15 stand-up comedy acts.
Retail outlets around the country will be providing discounts of up to 50% on a range of consumer goods including clothes, electronics, cosmetics and accessories for men, women and children.
