DOHA: The India Urdu Society Qatar (IUSQ) held its annual general body meeting recently and unanimously selected the office bearers of the working committee for a period of next two years.
The meeting took place at ‘Jalil Manzil’ in Doha, Qatar, which was chaired by the outgoing Founder President of IUSQ Jalil Nizami.
Atiq Anzar (the incumbent president of IUSQ) tabled the agenda of the meeting for discussion and consideration. Attending members reviewed the details of the agenda of the meeting which was later approved unanimously after a thorough discussion.
The members also discussed the performance of IUSQ during the current year and approved a roadmap for its upcoming events and activities.
The new officer bearers of IUSQ include: Atiq Anzar (President); Mohammad Shahid Khan (General Secretary); Haseeb ur Rahman (Vice-President); Dr Abu Saad Ahmed (Vice-President); Dr Mohammad Aslam (Assistant General Secretary); Rashid Alam (Treasurer); Dr Nashat Ahmad Siddiqui (Media Secretary); Mohammad Shoeb Ahmad (Senior Media Advisor).
