Johnson Controls Qatar holds volunteer programme at Qatar Foundation for Elderly People

Johnson Controls Qatar employees at Qatar Foundation for Elderly People Care in Matar Qadeem.

DOHA: As part of its ‘Blue Sky Involve Corporate Social Responsibility’ initiative to support local communities, employees of Johnson Controls Qatar recently held a volunteer programme and visited the Qatar Foundation for Elderly People Care in Matar Qadeem.
Johnson Controls’ Blue Sky Involve is an employee driven volunteer programme, which encourages employees to work voluntarily with local non-profit organizations. In 2014 Johnson Controls employees formed 1,000 project teams with 15,400 employees and volunteered 151,369 hours.
Firas Al Rifai, General Manager of Johnson Controls in Qatar, said: “The organizations and causes we align with make a significant difference. We recognise that every dollar we contribute and each hour our employees volunteer are simply a first step towards bettering our communities and our world. Johnson Controls works globally to align environmental, social and governance responsibilities with economic priorities leading to positive results for our business, our communities and our planet.”
