Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued a circular today that the third booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna) will be provided to all eligible educational and administrative staff and students in public and private schools without prior appointment in all health centres.

“We kindly ask you to inform school staff and students 12-year-old and above to take the booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine by going to any health centre without a prior appointment, as soon as they are eligible to receive it,” ministry said in the circular send to schools.

"This is important in providing a safe study environment for our students, and in coordination with the Primary Health Care Corporation to combat the spread of the coronavirus," it added.
