Former Doha student bags Gold Medal in University of Pune

DOHA: Former Ideal Indian School student Anoushka Jerusha Pires has secured first rank in Bachelors of Petroleum Engineering at Maharashtra Institute of Technology and is a gold medalist in the University of Pune. She has consistently topped in all the eight semesters of her engineering.

Anoushka is the daughter of Apolinario Jeronimo Pires and Socorrinha Pires of Morgado, Goa- Velha (Doha-Qatar). Anoushka had completed her XIIth grade (Science stream) in Ideal Indian School, Doha-Qatar securing 92 percent under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 2011. She had topped in Engineering Graphics with 99 percent and was among the few students to obtain A1 grade in all subjects.  As Anoushka puts it, hard work and determination is the key to success.
