Doha: As the world begins its countdown to a new year, Qatar too has a few end-of-the-year festivities, along with art exhibits and of course, the Saturday Bazaar that begins again on January 2 at the Museum of Islamic Art. The Good Old Days Exhibition
For those of you missed it last weekend, Cultural Village Foundation at Katara invites for the Good Old Days Exhibition by Qatari artist Hassan Boujassoum. The exhibition will be open till 10pm in building 22.

The upmarket UK brand Harrods is celebrating the launch of Harrods Doha Village at the end of Katara’s Shakespeare Street featuring some of its best products along with its rare collection of products.

New Years Eve programmes
Almost every star hotels including Hilton Doha, Grand Hyatt, Sharq village, Kempinski Doha and The Torch have special new year eve events included in the itinerary. And luckily for most of us it also falls on a weekend. For some residents in Doha who are not too keen on going out, New Year’s Eve is a family and friends affair with catching up on the live streaming of fireworks from Burj Khalifa in Doha today at 11pm Qatar time.
MIA Park Bazaar
Museum of Islamic Art Park resumes its weekly Saturday bazaar this weekend, January 2, from noon to 8pm. With over 100 stalls selling clothes, accessories, crafts, décor, etc, the bazaar promises to be a hit. For details: Click here
