It has been noted that the current crisis of cutting ties with Qatar by three brotherly GCC countries is part of a pre-planned conspiracy to impose blockade on Qatar.
The diplomatic initiatives and continuous success made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in garnering support from most of the countries in the world, which is a great achievement, are factors which these countries did not take into account while hatching the conspiracy.
The series of visits which are still continuing by the foreign minister have resulted in positive positions in favour of Qatar. Because of these successful diplomatic efforts, some countries have stayed away from being part of this anti-Qatar campaign which is based on fabricated, unjustified and baseless reasons created by these three countries.
The foreign minister's efforts were clear and highlighted the country’s position and its international commitments. He emphasised that Qatar is keen to develop its relations with all countries in the world.
We are not dependent on others except Allah and Qatar's loyal people, who have stood with the leadership from the first moment of this pre-planned blockade. And the wise government is updating its citizens about all developments and necessary decisions are being made. This shows the sincerity of in-tentions and good actions by the leader, Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Despite continuous provocations, Qatar will remain a sovereign country and a completely independent state in its decisions and directions. It will not be intimidated by any blackmail from anyone, as is happening now with the three Gulf countries which were annoyed that Doha has its sovereign decisions… We are all Tamim and Tamim is Qatar.
