Doha: Population in Qatar saw a 0.1% increase from December 2015. At the end of January 2016 the population stood at about 2,423,000.
This number is 8.9% more than that in January 2015.
Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics released its monthly preliminary figures on population.
These data represents the number of persons all ages (Qataris and Non-Qataris) within the boundaries of the State of Qatar.
