ROTA education project benefits thousands of students in Pakistan

One of the schools Rota has rebuilt in the Swat Valley in Pakistan.

DOHA: Thousands of children in the Swat Valley in Pakistan have benefited from a Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) programme.
The ‘Infrastructure Support and Professional Improvement to Revitalise Education (INSPIRE),  which helps children towards the best future, has been extended for three years.
The project has been implemented in collaboration with Care International Institution.
It has contributed to providing quality education to students of 42 schools in the valley.
Issa Al Mannai, Director,  ROTA, said: “The project has achieved huge success, and we are proud to offer such educational facilities. 
“We offer education to children and have made it our priority,” he added. 
Al Mannai added that Rota, with the help of volunteers and partners, also rebuilt two schools and rehabilitated 40 and implemented programmes to train teachers.
