Doha: Scale7, the first Fashion & Design business incubator in Qatar, is accepting applications for the third edition of its hackathon competition aimed to creating a business solution for the fashion industry in Doha.
It is also intended to generate creative ideas and new business concepts to solve some of the challenges in the fashion, design and technology industry.
In a statement, it said: “Are you driven by a desire to create unique solutions in the fashion business? Participate in the third edition of the Scale7 Hackathon to put your idea’s creativity and innovation to the test. A strong application may be the first step toward business success and funding to help bring your idea to life.”
The themes for the competition are fashion tech and sustainable consumption. Applications are open for both teams and individuals. The individuals not having any business idea will be asked to collaborate with others, and come up with a business concept during the hackathon.
Deadline of submission is on March 17 and the three-day event will happen from March 23 to 25. To submit an application, interested applicants can visit their website.
