Doha, Qatar: Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr Club in January 2023, spoke about the biggest challenges he faced since shifting to the country.

In a recent interview that was posted on the Saudi Pro League’s official social media channels, Ronaldo said that adapting to the training schedules was a major adjustment.
"In Europe we train more in morning, but here we train in the afternoon, or evening and in Ramadan we train at 10 in the night; so this is so strange, but as I tell you these situations are part of an experience, memories,” he said.
Ronaldo continued that he likes to live these moments because you learn with these things noting that "it is difficult, but it is nothing I have not seen before."
Since joining, Ronaldo has featured extensively in the Saudi Pro League and made a significant contribution to the club’s performances.
Featuring in 16 league matches since joining, the Portuguese forward has scored 14 goals during 1,701 minutes of total game time.
The star, who is known for his discipline, work ethics, and fitness regime, also remarked that "playing football at the highest level for 20 years is not a coincidence. It is not genetics. Genes are important, but there are other important factors as well. The difference is what you do to use those abilities."
He added that to play football is a way of life, which requires one to be focused, concentrated, professional, and do the best one can.
