Ankara: Turkiye's Foreign Ministry welcomed today the Arab plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which was issued by the extraordinary Arab summit in Cairo.
"We will continue to support initiatives that aim to achieve a permanent ceasefire, begin the reconstruction of Gaza, and ensure that Palestinians live in peace on their own land," a ministry statement carried by Anadolu News Agency read.
Tuesday's Arab summit for Palestine, held in Cairo, adopted the plan submitted by Egypt regarding the early recovery and reconstruction of Gaza as a comprehensive Arab plan, and worked to provide all kinds of financial, material and political support for its implementation, as well as urging the international community and international and regional financing institutions to quickly provide the necessary support for the plan.
