Doha: BTS Jungkook's new behind the scenes photos in Qatar reignites 'Dreamers' memories during last year's FIFA World Cup.
A recent update by the band's label, Big Hit Music, on South Korean online platform Naver takes BTS fans to a trip down memory lane on Jungkook's stay in Qatar with almost 40 images highlighting the artist's journey in filming the music video for FIFA World Cup soundtrack 'Dreamers'.
Some of the unseen photos in the post include his rehearsal at Al Bayt Stadium and backstage moments during the tournament's opening ceremony performance with Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi. The iconic Qanat Quarter, with its Venice-inspired neighbourhood adorned with canals and bridges, was also the backdrop in some of Jungkook's stunning night shots.
A number of famous landmarks in the country were also showcased in the photo collection, such as the Souq Waqif and West Bay, where he was spotted by fans a few weeks before the performance.
"ARMY came to the set and cheered for me a lot. It's such a rare opportunity that I get to see them," the youngest member of BTS said in a music video shoot sketch for 'Dreamers'.
"I'm so thankful to the Qatari ARMY that came to cheer for me and I'd also like to thank all the other ARMY that heard the news and are cheering for me from afar," Jungkook added.
On Twitter, fans around the globe shared their excitement for the latest photos. Some ARMYs were also quick to praise Jungkook's exciting off-cam activities such as swimming and bowling.
Last week, Jungkook went live on Weverse to catch-up with his fans around the globe. The live broadcast, which lasted for several hours, featured Jungkook sing a few lines and a verse of Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi in the FIFA World Cup soundtrack, 'Dreamers'.
