Doha, Qatar: The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) hosted a grand Eid Bazaar & Mehndi Night as part of the Eid festivities on Friday, March 28 at ICC Ashoka Hall.
The two-day event was inaugurated by HE Vipul, Ambassador of India to Qatar. Dr. Vaibhav A. Tandale, Counsellor (Head of Chancery and Consular) at the Embassy of India, served as the Guest of Honor for the evening. ICC President AP Manikantan extended Eid Mubarak wishes and expressed gratitude to all contributors for making the event a success. ICC General Secretary Abraham K. Joseph welcomed the gathering, while ICC Head of IT & Social Media Sandeep Sriramareddy delivered the Vote of Thanks.
The event saw participation from distinguished community leaders, including ISC President EP Abdurahman, IBPC President Thaha Mohammed, and ICBF General Secretary Deepak Shetty, along with Management Committee Members of ICC, ICBF, IBPC, and ISC.
The Bazaar featured over 60 vibrant stalls offering a variety of handicrafts, leather products, imitation jewelry, and ready-made Indian traditional clothing, along with a selection of delectable Indian cuisine. Attendees also enjoyed live henna stations, adding to the festive spirit.
