Doha: The General Assembly of the Qatar ESports Federation (QESF) elected Sheikh Nasser bin Khalid Al Thani as President of the QESF for the new term 2024-2028.
The General Assembly also elected Mohammed Issa Mohammed Al Shuraim as Secretary General, along with Sheikha Abeer bint Nooh Al Thani, Sheikh Turki bin Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, Ali Abdullah Saad Rashid Al Kuwari, and Saleh Majed Saleh Mubarak Al Khalifa as members of the Board of Directors.
This came during the QESF’s General Assembly meeting, which was held on Monday at the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), in the presence of members of the General Assembly and QOC’s representatives.
The members of the General Assembly approved the minutes of the previous meeting, and discussed the QESF’s financial budget report, the 2023-2030 strategic map, and the 2023-2026 strategic plan, in addition to reviewing the tasks and duties of the QESF’s Sports Affairs Department and Marketing Department, and the mechanisms for implementing the project to develop electronic sports among age groups.
