Doha: Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi were performed at the Annual Dance Festival 2015 of the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) on December 10. Seventy-three students of ICC performed 16 dances that enthralled the audience of more than 200. The dances were choreographed by ICC classical dance teacher MetildaSoloman and ICC Odissi dance teacher Shaily Chatterjee. Certificates were given to students by ICC President Girish Kumar. Plaque of appreciation was given to ICC teachers: Classical dance teacher MetildaSoloman, Odissi teacher Shaily Chatterjee, Karate master Abdul Jaleel, Yoga teacher P B Shine, chess master Jaise Joseph and cinematic dance teacher Santhosh Kulangara by chief guest Suneel Thapliyal and the ICC President. ICC is the official body of Indian expatriate community functioning under the patronage of Embassy of India for the advancement of sports, social and cultural activities of Indians in Qatar.
