Doha:  Oleg Engachov maintained his winning streak at the Emir Shooting and Archery Cup 2015 to pick up his fourth gold while Naser Ali Al Humaidi upstaged Masoud Hamad Al Athba to win the Trap event.
Yesterday Engachov, gold medal winner at last year’s Asian Games in South Korea, won the 25m Center Fire Pistol overcoming the challenge of Maltsev Konstantin.
Konstantin had to settle for the silver, Riaz Rustam took bronze.
In Trap, 30-year-old Naser won the gold medal shoot-out against Masoud Hamad Al Athba 11-10.
Rashid Taleb Al Athba took the bronze. Naser was thrilled with his performance.
“The competition was tough. Some of the top shooters who have won medals at the Asian Games and World championships are participating in the event. So this is a sweet victory for me,” said Naser. THE PENINSULA
