Ezdan Hotel West Bay, one of Ezdan Holding Group’s hotels, hosted participating delegations in the 2016 Road World Championship organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in its first edition in Qatar and the Middle East. More than1,000 cyclists representing 75 countries raced to win the Championship held from October 9th until yesterday.
In cooperation with the championship organisers, Ezdan Hotel, which is managed by Ezdan Hotels Company, is keen to provide full support to the participating delegations throughout the 10 days championship. Moreover, the Hotel provided various facilities and equipment specifically designed to serve international sport competitions, scientific conventions and other major events.
Commenting on hosting the 2016 Road World Championship, Ezdan Hotels General Manager Hasib Kayali said the company mobilises all its efforts and dedicates all its means to support sports events in Qatar through providing comprehensive services and backup as well as overcoming challenges that might be faced, as a commitment to the Qatar vision 2030. Kayali continued saying that the support provided by the company lays in equipping its hotels with the best modern facilities of the highest international standards. In this context, Ezdan Hotels has recently carried out a comprehensive facelift to its facilities, in addition to launching a women’s fitness centre equipped with the latest technologies and workout devices. The new women’s fitness centre provides maximum privacy, creating an environment of comfort and relaxation for all female athletes.
