Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned Tuesday's explosion targeting President of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's convoy in Mogadishu, leaving fatalities.
A Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) statement reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.
The statement extended the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Somalia.
