Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani talked with Prime Minister of Iraq Dr Haider Al Abadi over the phone today.
They discussed about the latest developments in the kidnapping of Qatari citizens in Iraq. The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the Iraqi government in dealing with the situation. He expressed his hope that the Qatari citizens will be released as soon as possible.
For his part, the Iraqi PM stressed that Iraqi security was working on getting the Qatari citizens released.
