Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned today of the danger of the Israeli occupation's approval of the establishment of a military administration to facilitate the displacement of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip under the pretext of offering voluntary relocation to residents who wish to emigrate.
In a statement, the ministry condemned the occupation authorities' approval of separating 13 colonial neighborhoods in the West Bank from the settlements and recognizing them as independent settlements.
It added that the deepening and expansion of colonialism is linked to the aggression, crimes of demolition, and forced displacement being perpetrated against the occupied West Bank, especially in the northern West Bank. It is accompanied by an unprecedented escalation in the seizure of Palestinian land, the displacement of Bedouin communities, and the expansion of pastoral colonization in many areas of the West Bank, particularly Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley, while the war of extermination and displacement continues in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry stressed that the occupation government's persistence in its crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people, their land, and their rights requires all countries to review their positions, their effectiveness in influencing the government, and the extent of its compliance with international resolutions.
The ministry reiterated its demand for the imposition of deterrent sanctions that would compel the occupation government to halt its war of genocide, displacement, and annexation, and to comply with the international will for peace.
