Doha: International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) has appointed Mubarak Saleh Muba-rak Al Khula-ifi as the new Head of Branches. Al Khulaifi will be responsible for managing a network of nine branches with a great team of staff spread across Qatar.
Al Khulaifi joined IBQ in 2009 as Branch Manager and was promoted to Senior Branch Manager in 2011. Al Khulaifi played a significant role in establishing the bank’s operations at its Airport and Qatar Airways branches. Additionally, Mubarak attended and successfully passed a series of training and strategic thinking programmes at the bank.
Jabra Ghandour, Managing Director of IBQ, said: “Attracting and developing national workforce is IBQ’s fundamental goal which we always seek to achieve. We’re very pleased to have the distinct group of female and male Qataris working among the IBQ team.
