Doha: Al Rayyan Municipality found a huge quantity of inedible lemon and potato from central market.
Ministry of Municipality said that Al Rayyan Municipality confiscated 2,128kg of imported lemons and 88 bags of potatoes weighing 1,320kg from Al Sailiya Central Market as they were found unfit for human consumption.
The inedible vegetables were destroyed as per procedure to preserve the overall health of the consumer, Ministry added.
