Doha: As the world gears up for the Olympic Games Paris 2024, Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM) will host Let the Games Begin: 3-2-1 Summer Olympics Festival to commemorate 40 years of Qatar’s participation in the Olympic Games.
The festival will take place at 3-2-1 QOSM from 4pm to 7pm, Sunday 28 July to Sunday 4 August 2024, offering a variety of engaging activities for all ages. Each day of the festival will feature live Olympic sports demonstrations; educational activities focused on the Olympic logo design, mascots and medals; guided tours on Olympic history, workshops and storytelling sessions themed around the Olympics.
As well as hosting the 3-2-1 Summer Olympics Festival, QOSM is staging an exhibition in France’s capital city from July 31 to 25 August at Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris Hotel. The exhibition, titled Olympism: More than a Dream, records 40 years of Qatar’s participation in the Olympics since 1984.
