DOHA:  Popular rider Mubarak Yousuf Al Rumaihi guided Viking D to complete a flawless routine to grab major honours as another stage of the hugely popular Hathab Series kicked off yesterday.
At the state-of-the-art Al Shaqab Arena, the duo clocked a time of 66.82 seconds to capture the top prize of QR3,750 in the Open Class - Table A, One round against the clock Art. 238.2.1, 115/125cm event.
Belucci Van ‘T Vleminkhof, with Jaber Rashid Al Amri in the saddle, clocked a time of 67.10 seconds to secure the second place on the podium as well as a prize cheque worth QR3,000. Awad Al Qahtani, astride Gerenice Of Colors, completed the task in 68.06 seconds to wrap up the top three positions in the QR15,000 event.
Earlier, in the Small Tour, young rider Hamad Nasser Al Qadi, who guided Gysmo 26 to complete the routine in 62.61 seconds, was the worthy winner of the top prize of QR 2,500. Previous stage’s winner of the Small Tour, Ghanim Nasser Al Qadi was the second fastest when he guided Fudine to finish the task in 62.64 seconds.
Dusty, ridden by Khalifa Abdulla Al Khaldi won the third place.
