Doha: In its monthly climate information, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) stated that temperatures in the country will rise gradually during the second half of March.
During this month, the prevailing wind will blow in the northwesterly direction, said QMD in a tweet.
QMD also said: "Sudan's seasonal low deepens in the Arabian Peninsula and meets cut-off lows from Europe causing instability over the Arabian Peninsula."
The daily mean temperature for the month of March is projected to be 21.9°C.
The lowest and highest temperature recorded in March was 8.2°C in 1984 and 39°C in 1998 respectively.
