Weak chance of rain, cooler nights during weekend: QMD

Doha: On its weather report for the weekend, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) predicts hazy to misty weather conditions and a weak chance of scattered rain at some places. Mild nights will also be observed on both days.

The minimum and maximum temperature for the next two days will vary between 26 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.

QMD also recently tweeted that the weather is expected to get cooler at night and chances of rain is set to improve. 

As October nears its end, this second month of Autumn observed fall in temperature and relative humidity. Based on QMD's climate summary for the month, cloud amount also increased accompanied by occasional outbreaks of rain, as well as prevailing wind from the Northwest.

On Friday, the sea height will vary between 1-2 ft rising to 4ft at times offshore.

On Saturday, the sea height will vary between 1-2 ft inshore. Meanwhile, sea level offshore will vary between 2-4 ft and is expected to rise to 5 ft.

The wind, for both days, is expected to blow variably less than 5 KT, at first, and will shift mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 KT.

Visibility on both days will mainly be 4-8 kilometres.
