DOHA: Al Mahd International School students from grades KG till 6 took part in Eid Al Adha celebration on Monday. In the PE hall the teachers set up a Makkah display for children to practice pilgrimage. KG students made Eid cards and listened to tales about Haj. Primary student made presentation in both English and Arabic to their fellow classmates about Haj.
"Our international students shared with their classmates how Eid is celebrated in their home country. Here at AlMahd we believe that it is very important that children be well informed about the regions culture. We would like to thank the parents that send items to school to make the Eid celebration more memorable," a statement from school officials said.
