DOHA: The Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), yesterday organised a training course on human rights in security works and law enforcement at the CID headquarters.
The course discussed three main points — basics of human rights; human rights in security work; and the rights of people in remand. Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Mubarak Al Kuwari, Head, Administrative Section, CID, said the course focused on the rights guaranteed under the Qatari law for people in police custody and remand conditions.
