Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department has predicted that the weather could be misty at places with scattered clouds and slight dust at times.
On Thursday, it expects scattered clouds with chance of rain in certain parts of the country. The temperature will vary between 22 and 29 degrees Celsius. Wind, inshore, will be mainly southeasterly to southwesterly 03 to 15 knot.
Meanwhile for Friday and Saturday, the department expects strong wind with high seas offshore. There will be scattered clouds with relatively cold at night. The temperature on both these will vary between 18 degree and 28 degree Celsius.
The department had said that there will be cold spell during this weekend with the temperature being lower in southern part of the country.
In an earlier report it has stated that weather charts show fresh to strong northwesterly wind is also expected between Friday evening, December 3, until the beginning of next week. The wind will blow at 12-22 KT gusting to 30 KT at times in some areas. Due to this weather condition, blowing dust and low visibility less than 3 kilometres is expected in some areas.
