'Noticeable' rise in temperatures in Qatar starting Thursday: QMD

Doha: Qatar is expected to experience a noticeable rise in temperatures from Thursday, March 6, 2025. 

This is according to a weather forecast by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD). It further stated that this weather condition will prevail through the weekend.

According to recently shared QMD climate information, March will herald a gradual rise in temperature especially during the second half of the month, with northwesterly wind being prevalent during the month. 

During this month, the daily mean temperature has typically been recorded at 21.9°C. 

The lowest temperature ever recorded during this month was 8.2°C in 1984. Meanwhile, the highest temperature recorded was 39°C in 1998.
