Occupied Jerusalem: Settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, under strict protection by the Israeli occupation forces.

The Department of Islamic Endowments in occupied Jerusalem reported that successive groups of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the side of the Mughrabi Gate, carried out provocative tours, performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, and listened to explanations about their alleged "temple."

Eyewitnesses also said that members of the occupation police stormed the Al-Qibli Prayer Hall and toured it provocatively.

The occupation police are permanently present in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa in order to monitor the movements of worshipers and to secure the settlers' incursions into the Mosque.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to settlers storming daily on two shifts, morning and evening, with the exception of Friday and Saturday, in an occupation attempt to impose the temporal division in Al-Aqsa.
