Deputy Emir chairs second meeting of Qatar University Board of Trustees

Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University (QU), chaired the second meeting of the board for the academic year 2015-2016 at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. The meeting discussed the agenda, including a report on the projects being implemented by QU in various fields during the academic year. It also addressed the development of QU’s organisational structure and its strategic plans and projects for 2017-2022. The meeting took decisions, including the approval of the creation of a College of Health Sciences at QU.
