Mercury levels will drop to 14 degrees today

Doha: There were high winds yesterday and the weather was cold, particularly at night. 
The night will be chilly today as well with the weather bureau forecasting the minimum temperature between 11 and 17 degrees Celsius in the country. 
Day temperatures will range between 20 and 23 degrees. 
In Doha, mercury levels will drop to 14 degrees today, while the day will be hotter (23 degrees). 
Abu Samra on Qatar-Saudi Arabia border, and Al Khor in the north will witness the coldest night so far as the mercury level will fall to 11 degrees.
In Messaieed and Al Wakrah, the temperature will vary between 23 degrees (day) and  12 degrees (night).
The wind will be northwesterly, inland and offshore, moving at between five and 15 knots (inland) and up to 22 knots offshore. The seas will be high, the bureau said. The Peninsula
